Pre-sale tickets are available starting September 15th until they are sold out or until October 15th.  

 
    • $12 Adults | $12 Children 
    • Season Pass holders receive 1/2 Off. 
    • Trick or Treat Trail is from 10AM-4PM, with admission ending at 3PM.

Sign up for 2014 Boo at the Zoo begins, September 1, 2014.  Spots are available on a first come, first serve basis. 

All local organizations are invited to sponsor a Trick or Treat Station and pass out candy.

Boo at the Zoo - October 18th & 19th and October 25th & 26th

Designed for a younger audience, Boo at the Zoo offers 4 days of scare-free fun! Join our safe zoo neighborhood of Halloween entertainment, with kid-friendly fun around every corner.

TRICK OR TREAT TRAIL: Enjoy a trail of trick-or-treating stations with treats, toys and treasures for children of all ages! Kids and adults are encouraged to wear fun (not scary) costumes.

COSTUME CONTEST: Join in the Costume Contest! We will be having a costume contest each day of the Boo at the Zoo! 
Come dressed in your fanciest, cutest or best animal costume for a chance to win a Zoo-rific prize! Age categories from 2-12 years old. Registration begins at 12:30, judging begins at 1:00 pm.

 

Boo at the Zoo Frequently Asked Questions

Do kids have to wear costumes?
  Kids ages 12 and under are encouraged to wear (non scary) costumes but it is not a requirement.

Can adults wear costumes?
  Adults may wear costumes be we ask that they be family friendly (not scary). And because this event is geared toward families with young children, adults ages 18 and older may not wear masks that cover the face.

Will the animals be out during Boo at the Zoo?
Yes! Since this event is held from 10am - 4 pm, guests can enjoy all their favorite animals and the Zoo as they would normally.

Can adults trick-or-treat?
  No, trick-or-treating is reserved for kids ages 12 and younger, so adults cannot trick-or-treat.

Will train rides be free during Boo at the Zoo?
  No. Boo at the Zoo admission includes the Trick-or-Treat Trail, Bounce Houses, Creepy Crawly Critter Touch Station, Animal Encounters, and Face Painting. Train rides tickets are available for $3 each.

Are we limited to one visit at each station along Trick-or-Treat Trail?
  There is so much to do during the event that we ask that guests who already received treats form a station, complete all the stations throughout the Trick-or-Treat Trail  before visiting the same station again.

Should children bring their own trick-or-treat bags?
  No, it is not necessary to bring your own bag.  Each paying child will receive a festive bag for the Trick-or-Treat Trail upon arrival.

Why should I pre-purchase my Boo at the Zoo tickets?
  To save your family time and skip the long lines.  Pre-sale ticketholders will have a dedicated entrance and no waiting to enter the event, so your experience will be fast and east to start Trick-or-Treat Trail.

What happens if I pre-purchased my Boo at the Zoo tickets and it rains?
 Boo at the Zoo will take place rain or shine. In the event the Zoo must close due to extreme inclement weather, a message will be posted on the Gulf Breeze Zoo website and we will honor your pre-paid ticket on any of our other Boo at the Zoo event dates.

How can I pre-purchase my Boo at the Zoo ticket?
 You can purchase your Boo at the Zoo tickets starting September 15th at the guest services counter at the Gulf Breeze Zoo between 9:00am and 5:00pm daily.
